These photos were shot at the Granite Falls Museum in Grand Junction, Colorado. It's owned by Steve and Bobette McCallum. With Steve's permission, his email address is stevemccallum1966@msn.com. Steve's probably one of the nicest guys I've ever met...and there were a whole otta nice folks there that day. I was there with some members of VORC (Vintage Oval Racing Club) who are nuts about old race cars, as is Steve.

The collection includes midget and sprint cars dating from the 20s to the 80s, with the majority of them of the 40s and 50s variety. An amazing variety of car and engine combinations from Evinrude outboards to Henderson motorcycle engines to a large collection of Offy powered sprinters.

The facility is beautiful as is the scenery surrounding it. It sits up against the Colorado National Monument. I was given a tour of the grounds by a lovely young lady named Stephanie who proved to be a heck of a good golf cart pilot. All in all it was a wonderful experience and I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I did taking them.
