Glendale, Utah. June 28, 2002

This was car show called Cruise n Blues sponsored by Number One International, a performance shop. There were around 100 cars in attendance.

They had a pretty good blues band and free food. What more could a fella ask for?

These pages always seem to start off with some sort of Model T Ford. Well, this one's no different. Another T-Bucket, but with a 28 Model A Tudor behind it.

Here's a somewhat unusual rod. A 32 Chevy 4-dr sedan. This guy was parked right in front of us and I heard him close the doors. Every bit as solid as a brand new car. A very nice ride.

This 32 Ford 5-window coupe has the classic highboy look with lots of louvers on the hood.

And another 32 5-window. This one has a blown Chevy smallblock and the "American Graffiti" look.

Here's a high-tech 34 Ford 3-window coupe with Ford smallblock power.

A 35 Ford Pickup that's been restored to almost original condition. It has a tachometer and a fuel gauge added inside, otherwise it's all stock.

I really, really like this 40 Ford coupe. It has subtle flames on the hood with a Chevy 350 motor underneath.

And Gayle went nuts for this 51 Merc lead sled. She considered offering to trade for the Camaro. I wonder how that would have turned out?

Here's a 55 Ford Crown Victoria (the original one) in kustom form. It has a tubular grille, dual Packard taillights, frenched lakes pipes and a whole lot more.

I hadn't seen this Creamsicle 56 Chevy before. I like the orange and white paint scheme.

This T-Bird is loaded with every option available in 1956. It even has a tuck-and-roll padded dash that was a factory option.

Here's its 312 motor.

This 59 Elky is really "in the weeds." It's actually not quite as low as it appears in the pic, but pretty close.

These 67 RS/SS Camaros seem to be coming out of the woodwork. I don't remember seeing nearly as many of them before we got ours.

The owner told me that this one really wasn't an SS, but they "just put the badges on it when they built it." But it got the People's Choice award.

Here's a pretty rare horse. A 67 Mustang GT convert with a 289 Hi-Po motor.

And a 69 Plymouth 2-dr hardtop. This car is very, very nicely detailed.

The paint on this 70 Barracuda was outstanding. The photo doesn't do it justice.

And there were a whole lotta hairdryers there. The local Buick T-Type club showed up with their turbo V6es. There were probably 8 of them all in a row.
