West Valley, Utah. June 08, 2002

We didn't get started with the cruises and car shows until later this year for several reasons. Weather was one of them. We didn't have much of a spring, and then I had a little trip across the country sellin and buyin cars...and then I had to re-do the interior of the 67 Camaro RS/SS. So June was the first time we made it to a show.

This one was pretty sparsely attended. But we had the Citrus Camaros there and overall it was a pretty good show...with one exception which I'll address later.

54 Chevy 2dr Sedan

And it's smallblock motor. This car had very nice flames and a great sounding exhaust. It took first place in the show.

The is the minor exception. This is a 1959 Bentley (a cheaper model of Rolls-Royce) and the owner had loaded the trunk with amps and thumping bass speakers and so on. If I see it again, I fully expect to see it juiced up with lowrider hydraulics and 100 spoke gold wire wheels.

But that wasn't the bad part. The owner entered it as a 1929 model Bentley and bullshitted the judges into believing it. They bought his line of shit and gave him second place. Sheesh!

Here are the Citrus flavored 67 Camaros. They actually look kinda nice side by side.

This is the yellow RS/SS. I had just finished the interior the night before. It was a rush to get it ready, but we made it.

And the orange Pumpkin. I'd spent a lot of time on it, getting it ready for sale. We get a few nibbles at the cruises, but no firm offers yet.
