The last gathering point, Champaign/Urbana IL for lunch (specifically Urbana Garden), saw several of the members not able to make it due to the freezing rain that I first encountered about an hour and a
half south of Champaign IL on I-57. While the weather was obviously disappointing (and so NOT the way to welcome me back home), I had a good visit with National Monte Carlo Owners Association Member Scott W and his Dad.
Here, they stand next to their ice-covered Ford Thunderbird. We left soon after that ... and I traveled the rest of the way home via IL RT 47.
