This is the friendly face of the SCTA entry point people. When you get to "Land's End" (where the pavement stops and the salt begins) you'll find Lynda and Walt and this year,
Lynda's daughter Teauhna were there selling entry passes and giving out good advice. And always with a smile.
It's the "Gateway to the Salt" where those good folks hang out. (Lynda's the only one of those shown in this pic. She's in the middle.)
I paid my $40 for a week's pass and headed out to the pit area.
