Out on the salt again. We start with Speed Week, which was an abbreviated event (due to weather and course conditions) and a sad one, marked by the death of John Beckett.

World of Speed: September, 2005: Cancelled. Bummer!
World Finals: October, 2005: Also cancelled. Double bummer!
I guess the racing gods were less than pleased and wanted everyone to have another year to "get ready."
