This plane was used in the movie "Con Air." It's a Fairchild C-123 Provider. It has two Pratt & Whitney prop engines and two J-85 jet engines or as they called it, "two turning and two burning."

It took a little digging, but with some help from a retired military friend, we finally figgered it out.

(added 09/14/06 rcb) In talking with a security guard, I found out why this plane was sitting here. Around the time of the filming, the front end came crashing down and killed an unfortunate fella who happened to be standing under it. The plane had to remain in place until the investigation was complete.
