Here's the old beast on the salt...well the mud flats at the "bend in the road" where most folks camp. I had a mattress in the back and I was planning to sleep in a sleeping bag back there. Well, the mosquitoes quickly convinced me that the cab was a much better place to sleep. It seems that there's a ditch/canal right behind those bushes in the background and 400 billion mosquitoes live there, subsisting (apparently) on unwary salt racers.
