This hubcap (and the one in the next pic) started something very interesting. I looked at all 4 of them and said, "Hey Ken. Lookee this. 2 Desoto hubcaps and 2 Rambler caps." Otto Carter (the owner) was sittin in the back of a truck about 10 feet away and said, "Hey! He's the first guy who knew what they are! Everybody else has had to ask!"
I jokingly asked if my prize was to drive it around the pits for a day. They laughed and the dad said, "Well, why don't you sit in it for a bit, anyway." I was happy to oblige them.
