The Jimmy-powered sprint car gettin it's valve lash adjusted. They had a great way of doing it. The guy would set the lash on one valve, then turn to the other two guys by the car and say, "a little more." Then they'd push the car backwards (in gear) and rotate the motor a bit until he'd say, "ok." Then he'd do the next valve. I spose it saves a buncha wear and tear on the starter.
