Eventually my wife decided she wanted an SUV. So I put the White Car up for sale. A friend, Ken Boyd (may he rest in peace) bought it from me. He rode the Greyhound bus from Needles, CA to Salt Lake City to come pick it up. I picked him up at the bus station at 4 am and brought him to my house. When he got here, he started taking his belt off. I had no idea what he was doing...for a second. Then it sank in as he unzipped a hidden compartment in it. He pulled a bunch of hundred dollar bills out of the money belt and handed them to me. I didn't stop laughing for a long time. I had no idea that people really used money belts.| Previous Page |
