This was my son Tony's first car: a 68 Nova 4dr
(05/27/00) This is the way we saw the car. Just sitting innocently at the previous owner's house,
waiting for a new owner.
It's a 68 Nova 4-door sedan. Tony wanted a 4-door for family transportation since he was getting married soon.
It needs a little bit of work but it's basically solid.
The body is real straight in spite of a couple of dings...and the great thing is that there's no major rust.
Most of the surface rust is on the top and in the rear. Looks like time for POR-15.
The interior is gonna need some work. Not as much as Gayle's Camaro needed, but some work nonetheless.
(Wait til you see the back seat.)
Here's another good point. The 307 2bbl motor runs great And it's surprisingly peppy for a PowerGlide trans.
A little (ok lotsa) cleaning couldn't hurt at all.
I can't wait to get started on it with Tony. (The proverbial father and son project.)
