(07/15/09) I finally got to the point where I couldn't stand the mushy shifting of the 4L60E transmission. I bought an electronic controller for it that has 4 modes of operation...from stock to brutal.
I found that "Stage 2" (out of 3) was just right. Shifts much nicer.
(07/17/09) I also ordered an electric fan and controller. The sound of the clutch fan has been like fingers on a chalkboard. Half of the parts have arrived, it'll have to wait for a couple of days .
Next phase will be drop spindles and a flipped axle with lowering blocks...lower it about 3 inches all around.
Then instead of just fixing the clear coat on the fender, it's gonna need a complete paint job. The top is starting to peel and rust. Damn!
